Your local Councillors are meeting elderly people in Claydon and Barham to discuss whether there are enough suitable leisure facilities available in the villages. John Field and Martin Redbond have already met with residents at St Peter’s Court to discuss how a Senior Citizens' Club might be formed. Martin said: "We have also been discussing how the lounge at St Peter's Court might be better used by all elderly people in the area and how a Carpet Bowls facility might be provided.

We have purchased the bowls equipment and are now setting up St Peters 60+ club centred on St Peters Court primarily for residents in Claydon, Barham and Gt Blakenham.  It will have its first meeting on 21 May.
